One nerd creates
each pixel and
writes each word.
Why Nerdface exists
It started with a pattern I couldn't unsee. Business owners paying good money for beautiful websites that nobody visits, and that nobody understands. When they asked why, the design agency blamed the SEO consultant. The SEO consultant blamed the copy. The copywriter had never met either of them.
Three specialists, three invoices, zero accountability. The customer paid for the gaps between them.
So Nerdface does it differently: strategy, copy, design, SEO and code, all under one roof. Technically, one head. The person who wrote your headline is the same person who set its line-height, and the same person who made sure Google can read it. Nothing gets lost in a handoff, because there are no handoffs.
I work between Accra and London, fast and to precision. Being one person with no layers means there's usually room for your project, and speed here never means cut corners. It comes from doing this every day, from private equity firms to mountain resorts.
Is this a fit?
Work with me if
- You sell something real and want more enquiries from your website
- You'd rather own your site outright than rent it from an agency
- You want one accountable person, not a chain of vendors
- You care what the site says, not just how it looks
Look elsewhere if
- You're shopping for the cheapest possible option
- You want to skip the research and "just make it look nice"
- You want a spinning logo animation more than you want customers
- You think SEO is a box to tick after launch
How the work gets judged
-
01
Clarity before cleverness
A visitor should know what you do, who it's for, and what to do next within seconds. Everything else is decoration.
-
02
Search is part of the design
SEO isn't a bolt-on at the end. Structure, headings and copy are planned around what people actually search for, from day one.
-
03
Words are a design material
Typography can't rescue a vague sentence. I write the copy and set the type as one job, not two.
-
04
Small and fast wins
Lean builds load quicker, rank better and break less. Your site shouldn't need a manual, or a monthly repair bill.
-
05
You own everything
Your domain, your content, your analytics, your code. When we're done, it's yours. No hostage situations.
If a page can't explain itself, no amount of design will save it.
